 A campground where each child can experience a life-changing week of recreation, respite and attention from trained, caring adults.

The Starfish Story

Our name is inspired by The Starfish Story adapted from The Star Thrower by Loren Elseley.

A child was throwing beached starfish (sea stars) back into the ocean.

A passing adult commented on the possibility of making any difference when thousands of starfish were stranded on the beach.

The child responded, "At least I can make a difference for this one
